The European Commission's Directorate General for Economic and Financial affairs (DG ECFIN) has identified a need to enhance its communication strategy towards educational facilities. DG ECFIN asked Gellis (within the context of its framework contract for the provision of strategic communication advice) to design and implement an Educational study to determine the current teaching on the Euro and the EMU and the potential avenues for further integration of these issues.

In the new year Gellis Communications will be undertaking a new project with the European Centre for Disease prevention and Control. Gellis' task will be to evaluate two communication toolkits which have been developed by ECDC in 2007 and 2008 for Seasonal Influenza and Chikungunya fever. These toolkits were developed to assist European health authorities in raising awareness and limiting the spread of these viruses.
